An integral part of the opening

Performance starts
at the threshold.

Large openings demand secure attachment. Fastening through the bottom track can penetrate the primary waterproofing layer, creating a potential point of failure.

The J&S sub sill provides a fastening surface above that layer, preserving the pan beneath.

Independently evaluated

One component.
Measurable performance.

Evaluated by an accredited testing laboratory as part of a complete window installation assembly. Adding the J&S component doubled the tested Design Pressure performance in that assembly.

Testing results are based on the specific assemblies evaluated. Performance may vary depending on the complete system configuration.
